The Graduate Assistant (GA) in the Office of Student Leadership & Engagement serves a central role in living out our vision of: educating and empowering Macalester students to be their most successful selves through developmental leadership opportunities in the co-curricular. The Graduate Assistant role is vital to our work, signature programs, initiatives, and values.
The OSLE Graduate Assistant provides quality advising, support, and guidance to the student body and Macalester community through programming and advising of on-campus learning and engagement opportunities. The Graduate Assistant collaborates with campus partners, explores new ideas to encourage student leadership development, and leads late night and weekend programming initiatives. This position serves in the campus on call summer rotation.
This position also receives a semi-furnished one bedroom apartment and meal plan.
